This quartzite erratic is perhaps the first rock to be bouldered on by local climbers. The scene of wild parties, native celebrations and artwork, questionable hygiene, broken bottles and broken legs, the Big Rock has a fabled history that extends well beyond bouldering. A great regional brewery has even taken the name for its own.

For every problem listed in the App, doubled that exist and have been done repeatedly.

Many actions have been proposed to close this area as a climbing venue. Please keep a low profile when climbing here, take care on higher routes, and caution non-climbers who wish to emulate your skills in Reeboks.
