Moonlight Buttress is a 10-20m high cliff of brown, orange and white quartzite high on the northeastern flank of Rawnsley Bluff. Clearly visible from Bottom Camp, it offers some of the cleanest and best one-pitch climbing in South Australia. Colin Reece made many first ascents here and for years lured unsuspecting climbers up the testing slope to join in the fun. A number of lines remain to be climbed, mostly in the higher grades, but choose one of the cooler months.
