Climbing at Moonarie began amongst these haunting chimneys and corners. It’s a shady and somewhat overbearing place with quite a few striking lines and classy climbs that keep this area popular, especially in the warmer months. The cliff extends from the overgrown Northern Descent Gully to the broken rock near Quip chimney. A breadknife arête slices through the cliff about a third of the way along.
