For the longest time, this was an area that was unofficially closed as it didn't lie on an official Niagara Glen trail. However, the side trails were fairly beaten down, and it was extremely common to see lost hikers taking a steep hike out of Old Country. Fortunately, with access work spearheaded by climbers before us (Jany Mitges, in particular) and continued with our team, we've been able to establish an official climber's trail through The Neighbourhood. Hosting several hard classics, this is where strong climbers come to test their abilities. Some problems are a bit crumbly due to lack of traffic so take care, but hopefully, things will improve over time now that information is available.
