This climbing area holds a couple of good climbs including the test piece Evil (5.13b), but this area should be approached with great caution as these routes are located directly above the road, so anything you drop will go directly onto the road below. Approach: Evil Area is situated just east of River Wall (p70) and about 100 feet up on the south side of the road. Park as for High Wire (p74), then hike west for about 100 yards along the road before seeing a small climber’s trail on the south side of the road. Be very mindful not to drop rocks on cars when accessing this area.
