Wall of Justice
United States | Tunnel Two East | Rock Climbing Clear Creek
SPORT TRADITIONAL
If you’re looking for some overhanging Clear Creek climbing, this is your wall! Starting high on a steep cliff, this wall offers great exposure with some classic overhanging climbs, including The Great Escape (5.12c). Always be careful here because of the walls position on the hillside. It is recommended to anchor in to the fixed lines when traversing, or belaying on a center route like Miss Trial. When the sun is high in the sky you may not be able to see when doing some of the lip encounter moves, but this crag is otherwise very sheltered from the sun with its massive overhangs.
Approach: To get here, use the High Wire approach (p74) and walk past High Wire about 20 yards to the left of Pony Up (p74) to find a trail that leads downhill almost to the side of the cliff. The steep wall should come into your vision down and to the right. There is a fixed rope used by belayers and for getting to the different routes at the base of Officer Friendly.
