Eagles Beak
Rocky Mountain National Park
ALPINE
Eagles Beak is a satellite peak on the east side of the north ridge of Isolation Peak. This minor summit resides north of Frigid Lake (11,800’), below the Mooma Glacier. Hike the Thunder Lake Trail to 10,400 feet, then bushwhack southwest around the east ridge of Tanima Peak, and gain Eagle Lake (10,800’). Eagles Beak is clearly visible from the lake, 0.9 miles to the west. The following routes are most easily reached from Frigid Lake. A good map will be helpful.
