A totally undeveloped, amazing little area in the Black Elk Wilderness. Road and follow it for 4.0 miles. Make another right to head N on Hwy-87 N (Needles Hwy) for 2.9 miles. Take a third right onto N Camp Remington Road (FS-345) and follow it for 0.4 miles. Go left at Iron Creek Horse Camp Road (FS-345-3A) and follow it for 0.5 miles to the trailhead. For Remington Needle, follow the N Camp Remington Road (FS-345) for 1.3 miles. For Southern Cross, park at the Norbeck Trail #3 Trailhead (GPS N 43.827605° W 103.473389°); for Remington Needle park at the Grizzly Bear Creek Trail #7 Trailhead (GPS N 43.833386° W 103.456177°).
