This is the free climbers’ campground located just outside the northern park boundary on the Black Hills National Forest. It is considered dispersed camping by the NFS, which allows a maximum stay of 14 days in any 60-day period. From the entrance of Mt Rushmore National Park, continue NW on Hwy-244 for 1.7 miles (signed Wrinkled Rock) and park at Wrinkled Rock Campground
